I have backups of all my images and databases from StudioLine files (in different folders) from several old computers I no longer have. How do I properly bring them into my StudioLine program on a new computer so the Description previously associated with each image shows up appropriately in a new image archive on the new computer. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response.

The files were copied via Windows. For each of the old computers, I have a separate StudioLine folder containing the following folders: Cache, DataBase, Galleries, ICC, Images, and UI. In the Images folder there are Subfolders labelled Img000x.stg_hm and within each of those subfolders there is a subfolder labelled Pictures with the individual picture files having titles such as iZZZ--1x-1.jpg.

Does this provide information for you to guide me in the next steps? Thanks.

Yes they were all copied by StudioLine into the Image Archive files. The original files had names such as DSCNxxx.jpg whereas the images in the StudioLine Images-->pictures breadcrumb all have names such as iZZZ--1x-1.jpg. I don't think I have any cases of needing to re-import original images.

Currently the files are on an external storage device under separate folders from each of the old computers.

I currently have StudioLine Photo Classic 3.70 Plus installed on the new computer. It is Build 3.70.60.0 with a build date of 2013-11-28 10:44:30.

I am open to upgrading to StudioLine 4, if that makes this process simpler.

Thanks.
