Geotagged Images in Wrong Location on Map

I'm using StudioLine Basic 4 version 4.2.53. When I load images which contain geotag data, the map position shown is incorrect. For example, a photo taken in Amsterdam produces a marker located off the west coast of Scotland. The same images loaded into GeoSetter show their correct location, so I know the co-ordinates are accurate. Is there a fix for this?

Once you supply us with a sample image, we will investigate how the GPS data is stored in your particular image and why it causes StudioLine to misinterpret the coordinates.

Based on your Amsterdam vs. Scotland example, I suspect that the positive longitude for Amsterdam is being confused with the equivalent negative value - which would be in Cardigan Bay, west of Wales (but not Scotland, as the latitude of Scotland however is quite different from Amsterdam!?)

Thanks, I imported your Photo into a StudioLine Photo Classic, and it did appear in the correct spot.
Can you confirm that in your StudioLine Photo Basic, the GPS Coordinates in the Descriptors show the correct value (see enlosed).

If so, then the problem might have to do with an incorrect centering of the map in StudioLine Photo Basic vs. the full retail version.

Our team will also investigate in the morning.

In the meantime, see what happens when you use the big "+" / "-" buttons in the bottom right of the map to zoom in.

I wonder if the location will start working correctly when you switch from "World" view to a more focused map (such as, just Europe or Benelux).

Update: I installed StudioLine Photo Classic, and if I zoom in to include only the surrounding streets, the image location is approximately correct. However, as I zoom out to show Amsterdam and the surrounding area, the marker does not re-centre itself to the correct location. See attached images.

Thank you, the team has reproduced issues that occur with zoom-out map views and is working to address that. I do appreciate you pointing this out so competently and your patience.
This issue may have been introduced during a recent update and then was not sufficiently tested.
