Where can I find a list of the %%xxx%% variables that can be used to dynamically fill Descriptors?

I am aware of %%filename%%, %%header%% and a couple of others but expect there must be more.

Hi Wayne,

the list of %%....%% placeholders is too extensive, as it covers not just StudioLine system descriptors but also other namespaces, such as Exif, IPTC,...

Instead of having to manually look them up and then hoping to type those long strings in correctly, you simply right-click on any descriptor where you want to include a value of another one, then choose "Insert Descriptor" from the context menu, and pick any descriptor that is of interest.

StudioLine will insert the proper %%...%% placeholder on your behalf:

Thanks Andy. If I knew that I had forgotten. If it is in the manual I overlooked it.

A particular variable I am looking for is the name of the actual folder within the Image Archive - not the path to the file in Windows. Is there a variable for that?

Hi Wayne,

If you export a folder structure, then the name of each subfolder will be maintained in the exported folder structure.

Otherwise you could use "Descriptor Defaults" each time you create a new folder, to populate a certain user descriptor with a unique value for each folder. For already existing folders, you could globally assign all images in that folder that same user descriptor.

Best Regards,
Andy
